Motor Vehicle Crash
On July 13, 2020, at 4:39 AM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries at STH 69 and 8th Street.
Investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Jeffery C. Ritter (62), Monroe, was westbound on 8th Street and collided with a vehicle which was southbound on STH 69, operated by a 46-year-old Klondike, TX man. Ritter’s vehicle sustained moderate damages and the other vehicle sustained minor damage.
Ritter was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a flashing red signal, and for operating without insurance. Ritter was released pending a court appearance.
OWI Arrest
On July 13, 2020, at 11:29 PM, officers were called to a report of a vehicle, parked in the lane of traffic in the intersection of 11th Street and 18th Avenue.
The investigation led to the arrest of Kevin H. Pryce (54), Monroe, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense.
Pryce was also cited for improper parking/standing of vehicle, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending further action.
