On July 11, 2020, at 1:28 AM, officers arrested Michael E. Hoffman (34), Shannon, IL, following a report of an unwanted person causing a disturbance at a business in the 1300 block of 17th Street. Hoffman was located a few blocks away on foot. Hoffman was detained and later charged with disorderly conduct as a result of the investigation.
During the course of the arrest, Hoffman resisted officers, and was also charged with resisting arrest. Hoffman was also found to be wanted on a warrant from the State of Illinois for felony driving under the influence of intoxicants and was confined in the Green County Jail pending extradition proceedings.
