Green County Sheriff – May 26, 2020

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The following incidents occurred on Tuesday, May 26, 2020:

Warrant Arrest:
At approximately 12:17 p.m., Deputies arrested Janice L. Teasdale, 36, Monroe, WI, on a warrant issued for her arrest through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections at a residence in the N2400 block of Ullom Rd in the Town of Cadiz.  Teasdale was confined in the Green County Jail.

Probation and Parole Arrest:
At approximately 2:23 p.m., Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office in the City of Monroe and arrested Derek J. Grinnell, 30, Monroe, WI, who had a Probation Hold placed on him by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.  Grinnell was incarcerated in the Green County Jail.

Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 2:26 p.m., Deputies responded to the N2200 block of STH 69 in the Town of Monroe for a report of a two vehicle crash.  Investigation revealed that Michael E. Ritchard, 74, Monroe, WI, was traveling northbound when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle that was attempting to turn into a driveway.  The second vehicle was found to be driven by David C. Moore, 69, Monroe, WI.  Both vehicles then came to a rest.  Ritchard reported that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt.  Ritchard’s vehicle sustained moderate damage and the airbags did not deploy.  Moore reported that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt.  Moore’s vehicle sustained minor damage and the airbags did not deploy.  Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 3:02 p.m., Deputies responded to the N5100 block of Rechsteiner Rd in the Town of Mt Pleasant for a report of a single vehicle rollover crash.  Investigation revealed that Shaianna M. W. Parker, 16, Monticello, WI, was traveling northbound when she reported that she looked at her cellphone.  At this time, Parker lost control of the vehicle, which entered the east ditch and overturned.  Parker reported that she was wearing her seatbelt and she sustained non-life threatening injuries.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags did not deploy.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Parker was cited for Inattentive Driving. 

Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 7:52 p.m., Deputies responded to the W6400 block of CTH P in the Town of Clarno for a report of a vehicle versus tree crash.  Investigation revealed that Kristina J. Jamison, 17, Monroe, WI, was traveling westbound when her vehicle collided with a tree that had fell in the roadway due to a severe storm.

Jamison reported that she was not injured and that she was wearing her seatbelt.  A passenger in the vehicle reported that they were not injured and that they were wearing their seatbelt.  The vehicle sustained functional damage and the airbags did not deploy.  The vehicle was driven from the scene.
