The following events occurred on April 13th, 2020:

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage:
At approximately 3:19 PM, Deputies responded to the intersection of Red Cedar Ln. and Conifer Ct., Town of Decatur, for a reported two vehicle crash.
Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Payton M Hauser, 18, Brodhead, was west on Conifer Ct. when Hauser turned south onto Red. Cedar ln, crossed the center line, and struck a northbound vehicle, operated by Jared L Severson, 31, Juda.
Hauser and Severson both reported wearing seatbelts and no injuries. Hauser’s vehicle sustained moderate damage with no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene. Severson’s vehicle sustained minor damage with no airbag deployment and was driven from the scene.
Hauser was cited for Failure To Maintain Control and released pending court.
