The following incidents occurred on Saturday, February 15, 2020:
OWI Arrest:
At approximately 12:01 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for Operating Left of Center in the W1100 block of Decatur Albany Rd in the Town of Decatur. Investigation resulted in the driver, Marcus A. Peterson, 31, Brodhead, WI, being arrested for Operate While under the Influence (alcohol) 1st Offense. Peterson was also cited for Operating Left of Center, Possession of THC, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Peterson was released pending a mandatory court appearance.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 12:24 a.m., Deputies responded to the N9200 block of STH 92 in the Town of Exeter for a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Jaiden K. Walker, 19, Belleville, WI, was traveling northbound when she lost control of the vehicle due to the ice covered road surface. The vehicle then exited the roadway and entered the west ditch, where the vehicle collided with a traffic sign. Walker reported that she was not injured and that she was wearing her seatbelt. The vehicle sustained functional damage and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 4:37 a.m., Deputies, Monroe EMS, and the Monroe Fire Department, responded to the W5200 block of CTH FF in the Town of Monroe for a report of a vehicle versus tree crash. Investigation revealed that Penny A. Erickson, 63, Monroe, WI, was traveling westbound when she lost control of the vehicle due to the snow covered road surface. The vehicle then exited the roadway and collided with a traffic sign. The vehicle then collided with a tree and came to a rest. Erickson reported that she was not injured and that she was wearing her seatbelt. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags deployed. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At approximately 5:34 a.m., Deputies, Monroe EMS, and the Browntown Fire Department, responded to the W8300 block of CTH B in the Town of Cadiz for a report of a single vehicle rollover crash. Investigation revealed that Garret L. Voegeli, 16, Browntown, WI, was traveling eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to snow covered road surface. Voegeli reported that he was not injured and that he was wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and the airbags deployed. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
The Green County Highway Department assisted Deputies at the scene.
